Sadhika Venugopal is a versatile Indian actress who has carved a niche for herself in both the television and film industries. Alongside acting, she has hosted television programs, featured in numerous advertisements, and built a strong presence as a model.
Born in Kozhikode, Sadhika (also known as Radhika) hails from a creative family, being the only daughter of filmmaker Venugopal (Venu Sithara) and actress Renuka, which naturally led her toward the performing arts. Educationally, she holds a diverse background, having graduated in Business Management from Coimbatore, followed by a Postgraduate degree in Psychology, and a Master’s in Human Resource and Marketing and beyond her professional work, her interests include modeling, music, and travel.
Sadhika began her professional career in 2009 as a model. She made her silver-screen debut with Orkut Oru Ormakoottu and subsequently appeared in films such as Kalikaaalam and MLA Mani Patham Classum Gusthiyum. Her television breakthrough came with the serial Pattusari, where her portrayal of the lead character earned her immense popularity and critical acclaim. For this performance, she received several honors, including the Kazhcha Special Jury Award, the Adoor Bhasi Cultural Forum Television Award, and the Ragarathna Best Actress Award in 2013. Furthermore, her acting depth was showcased in the award-winning short film Athe Karnathal.
